Julia (Rojo) is a phone operator in Mexico City who divides her time between her job, her daughter and the danzon: a cuban dance very popular in Mexico and Central America. Every wednesday Julia does the danzon with Carmelo (Rergis) in the old "Salon Colonia". They've danced for years but barely know each other. One night Carmelo disappears without a trace. Feeling lonely and sad, Julia takes a train to Veracruz, where she knows Carmelo has a brother. That sudden trip will change Julia's life forever.

«Хронос» - це чудовий маленький пристрій, який геніальний алхімік Умберто Фальконеллі (він втік з Іспанії до Мексики) винайшов в 1536 році. Пристрій, що дарує безсмертя... Правда, в 1937 році життя алхіміка все-таки обірвалося в результаті трагічної випадковості. Тому що «Хронос» обіцяв вічне життя за умови, якщо власник буде живити його власною кров'ю...Майно особняка, де жив алхімік, було продано з молотка.
Сюжет

Carlos is a young student, just 21. Nice or annoying as he likes, enjoys provoking and transgreding. In the night he goes out to meet his friends in the Kronen, a bar. Every situation can be taken a little farther. There are no limits, no accepted barriers. And more each time, each adventure is chained to the next, as if it were a continuous night. A long description of people: grandfather, parents, sister, girlfriend, friends. And, among that, the obscure will of living every minute as if it were the last one. But something which happens puts Carlos and his friend against a reality they have been trying to ignore.
