Дія детективного телесеріалу розгортається на невеликому острівці, розташованому у Карибському морі. Цей клаптик суші вже неодноразово змінював свого власника, опиняючись то під владою Франції, то Великобританії, у результаті чого населення острова виявилося змішаним. Одного разу, при досить дивних обставинах вбивають британського детектива, який допомагав місцевій поліції у розслідуванні злочинів.
