Міша, емігрант з Росії, що працював на Батьківщині викладачем літератури, в Америці миє підлогу в якомусь НДІ по вивченню тварин. Tomas (12) gets a camera and begins making a film about his family. His enigmatic father (Ondrej Vetchý) works from home. By hiding a camera in his office, Tomas discovers that on Tuesdays and Thursdays his father leaves the house. When confronted with that fact, he denies it. On the pursuit of the great family secret Tomas reveals the hidden side of Haris, his best friend, who starts using a camera as the only way to get his mum and brother away from the hell of his violent father. Courage and profound friendship lead Tomas and Haris to the final revelation and an unpredictable conclusion. The whole film is shot and edited as if by a twelve-year-old boy. This technique allows us to perceive the world through the eyes of a child.

Julius Schmitke is a fifty-seven-year-old German wind turbine engineer. He feels ill and his body creaks, crunches and groans with age. One day, he is sent somewhere to the Czech side of the Ore Mountains to fix one of his old model, a C 174 turbine that, mysteriously, will not stop creaking and squeaking, just like his own body does. But this is not the only mystery that awaits him. His colleague disappears, strange things happen, and Schmitke starts to "feel" the spirit of the forest around him. The longer Julius wanders around the harsh and misty mountains, the more it surprises him that this entire expedition into the ominous and unknown jungle seems to be a return to old, familiar places within himself.Сюжет (англ.)
