Ретельно вивірена по вектору політкоректності мелодрама француза алжірського походження Бушареба вмудряється пройти по тонкій грані, що відокремлює мистецтво від агитпропа. Людська переконливість розказаної історії, її неголосний проникливий пафос зуміли переважити розхожу заданість цілком передбаченого сюжету.
