30-річний Дайкічі Кавачі вів собі холостяцький спосіб життя, нікого не чіпав і кохався в роботі. Аж раптом, одного дня, йому прийшло повідомлення про смерть його діда. Діватися було нікуди, адже все-таки родич, і Дайкічі поїхав на похорон. Коли він туди приїхав, його чекав маленький сюрприз. Виявляється, його дід, незважаючи на похилий вік, був хлопець хоч куди.
