У цієї анімаційної версії оповідання Едґара Аллана По мандрівник приїжджає в маєток Ашерів і виявляє, що брат і сестра, які живуть у ньому, знаходяться під загадковою сімейним прокляттям: почуття брата стали болісно загострені, а його сестра майже впала в кататонію. Чим довше відвідувач залишається в маєтку, тим все ближче ефекти прокляття підходять до своєї страшної кульмінації, а він змушений вибирати між безпекою своїх господарів і своєї власної.
