Класична екранізацію твору Александра Дюма. Едмона Дантеса, молодого капітана, заздрісні друзі звинувачують у зраді і кидають у в'язницю замка Ів, де він повинен провести решту свого життя. У в'язниці він зустрічає абата Фаріа, який відкриває йому таємницю поховання скарбів. Здійснивши втечу з в'язниці і здобувши скарби, Едмон отримує нескінченну владу, щоби помститися своїм ворогам.
Сюжет
