Сюжет
8 різних історій розвиваються в передмісті Гельсінкі, Вуосаарі. Американець Роберт відвідує Фінляндію по справах і переживає досвід місцевої зими. Пара наркоманів намагається розплатитися з бандитом, що штовхає їх на низку злочинів. 16-річна дівчина Мілла хоче прославитися і готова на все заради досягнення цієї мети, в тому числі використовувати своє тіло. Російський хлопець-іммігрант Вальтер піддається жорстоким знущанням у школі через своє походження. Сара та Лаурі давно не люблять один одного, в нього є позашлюбні відносини, але обидва вдають, що все в порядку.
