Фільм — про долю двох юнаків, які вступили добровольцями до загону боронити Україну і майже одразу втрапили до червоних у полон. Короткометражний фільм-драма "Закон", знятий на основі спогадів письменника Юрія Липи.Із загубленого серед війни українського села не повернулась застава. Куди вирушає гайдамацький загін – на підмогу чи на розправу – стане зрозуміло тільки на місці. Посеред засніжених полів розігрується сувора драма – про зраду і про помсту, про закон людський і закон Божий.
