Заручників, як і дружину, треба вибирати дуже уважно. Грабіжник Гас, що рятується від погоні, навпаки, вдерся до першого-ліпшого будинку. Там жили наче мирні звичайні американці, але дуже скоро Гас зрозуміє: в порівнянні з цим божевільним сімейством будь-яка тюрма - просто рай. The movie tells the story of two brothers, Vijay and Ravi Verma, who follow different career paths: Vijay is a smuggler and Ravi the policeman who is asked to hunt Vijay down. Vijay Verma, the elder brother, grows up with an acute awareness of his father's humiliation and is victimized for his father's supposed misdeeds. The latter is happily engaged to Shobha, while the former has just fallen in love with pretty, young Chandni. But tragedy strikes when Shekhar's plane is shot down in Kashmir.
