Однак справжній пошук відповідей починається тоді, коли вона починає знаходити рулон непроявленої плівки всередині кожної з тварин, якою вона опікується. Її одержимість змушує шукати зв’язок, який вона постійно відчуває та який переслідує її вдень та вночі.
