Документальний фільм "Всередині великої чорнобильської гробниці" супроводжує побудову безпрецедентної 36-тисячотонної сталевої споруди, що має накрити рештки атомної електростанції, зруйнованої у 1986-му році в Чорнобильській катастрофі. Фільм показує міжнародну команду інженерів у їхньому змаганні збудувати нову споруду до того, як первинний бетонний саркофаг — наспіх збудована споруда, що накриває реактор - обвалиться. Тимчасовий саркофаг, збудований лише на 30 років, зараз руйнується, наражаючи світ на ризик ще одного викиду радіоактивного пилу.
