We move back and forth between scenes of a family at home and thoughts about the stars and creation. Children hold chickens while an adult clips their wings; we see a forest; a narrator talks about stars and light and eternity. A dog joins the hens and the family, while the narrator explains the heavens. We see a bee up close. The narrator suggests metaphors for heavenly bodies. Scenes fade into a black screen or dim purple; close-ups of family life may be blurry. The words about the heavens, such as "The stars are a flock of hummingbirds," contrast with images and sounds of real children.

This way madness - or experimental filmmaking - lies. A solitary man in coat and tie enters an apartment that may be a converted garage. It's midnight. He appears agitated and distraught. He throws a glass of water in his face and laughs. He takes off the coat and tie. His moods swing. He stares at a light bulb. He removes his shirt. He lights a cigarette. He looks at a book. He does something drastic and self-destructive. He opens doors to a garden that we see as a film's negative. We see his face as if peering around a plant. The garden doors close behind him.

Eeyore is gloomy, like always, but more so now. His birthday is right around the corner and everybody has forgotten. It didn't cheer him up any when Tigger "accidentally" knocks Eeyore into the river. Pooh invents a new game, "Pooh Sticks", and everyone contributes to Eeyore's party, there's flat balloons, storage honey pots with Owl's hand writing on them, and a game of Pooh Sticks which Tigger claims he likes, but immediately hates it because he lost. It turns out to be a happy birthday celebration after all.

Baby Herman immediately swallows his rattle and is rushed to the hospital. The rattle get's out, but then Roger swallows it and doctors are about to cut him open when the lunch whistle goes off. Roger and Herman blast off around the hospital on a jet powered "Hare Splitter" machine. They get blown into the air, the rattle is rescued and everything is fine - until Roger sees the hospital bill!

Mickey dreamed of plenty and an easy life as Royalty and the Prince dreamed of the freedom as a subject. Happenstance throws them together and their mutual resemblence inspires the pair to switch identities to see how the other lives. To their surprise, Mickey learns of the duties and responsibilties of royalty while the Prince learns to his horror that the Royal Captain of the Guard has taken advantage of the existing power vacuum to inflict brutal tyranny on the subjects. Now the Prince must react to this evil, unaware that the Captain knows about the identity swap and is using it to his own advantage while dominating Mickey who play the Heir to the Throne.
