Герої змушені використовувати технології віртуальної реальності, щоб проникнути у цифрові світи та зупинити нову загрозу. Паралельно з’являється новий ворог, який намагається використати VR для підкорення людства. Битва виходить за межі реальності, і межа між грою та життям стирається. Команда має врятувати дівчину, яка опинилася в центрі подій, та зупинити поширення вірусу, здатного знищити людство. Фільм поєднує елементи фантастики, технологій та героїзму.

Персонал школи знаходить старшокласників з унікальними здібностями та примушує їх приєднатися до елітного ескадрону смерті. Агентів навчають шукати та ліквідовувати осіб з такими ж здібностями. Всі дії агентів записуються за допомогою чипа, вживленого безпосередньо у мозок. Непокора та невиконання завдань жорстоко караються: в голові близької людини агента знаходиться мікро-бомба, яка вибухає в момент невдачі.
