Фільм розповідає про чотирьох уцілілих пасажирів транспортного корабля, які опинилися на борту рятувального човника. Намагаючись скласти докупи подробиці розповсюдження біологічної зарази, що призвела до знищення їхнього корабля, вцілілі підозрюють одне одного, адже будь-хто з них може бути зараженим.

Попри всі намагання, оранжерея раптово знеструмлюється і Джулі опиняється в пастці. Вона поки не знає, що один контейнер із начебто ґрунтовими зразками містив позаземну особину, яка звільнившись, почала шукати собі хазяїна.
