Фільм розповідає історію легендарної скейтборд-команди 1980-х років — Bones Brigade. Через архівні кадри та відверті інтерв’ю з учасниками команда постає як братерство молодих підлітків, які згодом стали іконами світового скейтбордингу: Тоні Хоук, Родні Маллен, Стів Кабарреро, Майк Маꥳлл, Ленс Маунтін та Томмі Ґерреро. Створена Перелтою команда не лише популяризувала скейтбординг, а й докорінно змінила саму його суть, винайшовши нові трюки, стиль і підхід до катання. Фільм показує, як ці хлопці, соціальні аутсайдери, зіткнулися з труднощами юності, подальшим тиском слави та внутрішніми сумнівами, але завдяки взаємній підтримці та пристрасті до скейтборду змогли перетворити субкультуру на справжній глобальний феномен.
