Чотири брати Ерп женуть стадо у Каліфорнію на продаж. Доки молодший Джеймс стереже стадо в таборі, троє старших — Ваєтт, колишній судовий маршал Додж-Сіті, Морґан і Вірджіл — навідуються до сусіднього містечка Тумстоун, де гамірно і неспокійно.
