Donald Duck is ordered to wipe out a Japanese airfield. After parachuting out of an airplane, he lands in a Japanese forest. He uses an inflated canoe to cross the river, but as soon as it fills up with water, Donald is running for his life. He makes sure the canoe hits nothing that would pop it. When he gets to the edge of a cliff, he sees the airfield. The canoe has already exploded, causing water to flow. This large amount of water splashes onto the airfield, wiping the whole thing clean, but leaving disfigured airplanes.Сюжет (англ.)

Private Donald Duck has snuck off base for some unauthorized R&R. But his clever ruse (a dummy and a sound effects record) don't fool Sergeant Pete, who's waiting for him when he sneaks back in. Donald hides in one of three boxes and plays the shell game for a while, until Pete throws the box with Donald along the top of a sharp fence, sawing it in half. Donald lands in a hole, and both he and Pete think he's been sawed in half, for a while. Donald discovers he's OK, but his joy is shortlived when Pete gives chase (a chase slowed considerably by the 35 MPH national speed limit).Сюжет (англ.)

This short was made expressly for and under the auspices of War Activities Committee of the U. S. Treasury Department, and was distributed to theatres at no charge by only National Screen Services, since the War Activities Committee nor the U. S. Treasury Department had no film-exchange offices nor a theatre-distribution set-up. The premise is that it would take 'taxes to beat the axis', and Donald Duck is a reluctant tax-payer until he listens to a radio broadcast concerning the importance of all U.S. citizens to pay their share of taxes, and Donald gets into a conversation with the radio commentator, and learns why it is important to pay taxes to beat the axis.Сюжет (англ.)

With a war going on and tires and gasoline needing to be rationed, the man's automobile is not much use these days. So other forms of transportation are needed, each one suggested by an average United States denizen (each one, a Goofy like-alike). Some of these include a dog-powered vehicle, a cycle consisting of various feet which does your walking for you while you sit, children's vehicles which combine play with transportation, a golfer's "Model Tee" which you can use to "drive" to work (with a golf club), a politician's "pump-mobile", and a pair of roller skates operated by a handy magnet. But the most important vehicle during this time is... the pogo stick. The pogo's many uses are demonstrated and, pretty soon, the pogo will ultimately become the most popular transportation mode (though, obviously, since then, it hasn't!).Сюжет (англ.)
