Can a documentary save a fish species from extinction?
Сюжет
«Мальовані історії про війну» — це коротка оповідь про українську індустрію коміксів. Його автори поставили перед собою задачу ознайомити глядачів з поки що мало відомим та недооціненим в Україні видом мистецтва мальованих історій. Звідки походить це мистецтво? Коли воно з'явилося в нашій країні? Які форми воно мало в совєтську добу та як змінилось в перші роки відновлення Незалежності?Герої стрічки — художники, сценаристи та видавці мальованих історій з різних регіонів України: Київ, Львів, Запоріжжя, Січеславщина. В контексті їхніх особистих історій фільм показує, як розвивалось це мистецтво останні 10 років: після Революції Гідності та початку російсько-української війни. Також митці повідають, як змінились їхні життя та сенси їхніх творів після повномасштабної навали московитів 24 лютого; які перспективи індустрії коміксів в Україні та, чи існує зацікавленість у наших мальованих творах у закордонних читачів.
