Багатії можуть дозволити собі загробне життя в Lakeview з розкішними готельними номерами та різноманітними забаганками, а тим, хто не може оплатити вступний внесок, надано тарифний план розміром лише 2 ГБ, що рівносильно перебуванню у в'язниці.Головний герой Нейтан потрапляє в Lakeview після смертельної для нього аварії. Тут Нейтана зустрічає співробітниця програми, покликана полегшити його адаптацію в новому світі — дівчина, яку всі називають "Ангел".
Намагаючись звикнути до свого нового життя після смерті, чоловік невдовзі дізнається, що попереднє буття не залишило його в спокої до сих пір. Туманні спогади про фатальну аварію не випадкові, і Нейтану доведеться з'ясувати реальні подробиці події.
