На одному невеличкому хуторі поблизу річки жило плем’я вікінгів – хоробрих воїнів. Могутній Халвар був велетням за ватажка! Єдине, що краяло серце Халвара – 10-тирічний син Вік, який зовсім несхожий на безстрашних вікінгів. Маленький на зріст, проте з великим серцем, хлопчик завжди приходить на допомогу татові і усьому племені. І хоч стати до бою йому не дозволяє маленький зріст, Вік з легкістю перемагає ворогів за допомогою своїх розуму та винахідливості. Одного разу під час запеклої боротьби хлопчик врятував ціле село, використавши саморобні катапульти.
