Сюжет
«Спочатку було… Життя» – захопливий французький мультиплікаційний телесеріал, третій зі збірки «Спочатку було ...». Це телесеріал для дітей і дорослих, яких цікавить функціювання тіла людини. Доступною мовою описано біологічні тканини і органи, їхні функції. Просто й зрозуміло для дітей показані процеси, що відбуваються в мікросвіті людського організму. Як і в кожному телесеріалі цієї збірки мультфільмів, ми зустрінемо Метро, Софі, П’єро, темнокосу красуню Псі. Усього знято сім сезонів пізнавальних мультсеріалів для розвитку дітей.

Без сумніву, одне з найцікавіших і найдивніших творінь «GAINAX». Обидві частини цього фільму в пародійній формі розповідають про становлення студії, до того ж роблять це з таким перебільшенням і пафосом, що моментами стає відверто не по собі. Але сам сюжет забавний. Мова в ньому йде про компанії дітлахів, які спочатку просто захоплювалися аніме, фігурками, мангою та іншою атрибутикою, проте потім самі вирішили цю атрибутику виробляти. Потрібно відзначити, що все це чудово показано і змонтовано, іноді й зовсім захоплює.

Count de Chagnie has discovered Christine's singing talent on a market place and sent her to his friend Carriere, the director of the Parisian opera. However just when she arrives Carriere's dismissed. His arrogant successor refuses to let a woman of low birth sing in his opera, but graciously employs Christine as gadrobiere for his wife Charlotta, who's installed as first singer. He also fights the phantom, an unknown guy who lives since many years in the catacombs below the opera and was granted privileges by Carriere. However the phantom knows how to defend himself and at the same time helps Christine to her career.
