She wants him to marry her first. She also gets involved with a slightly rebellious actor, a would-be ladies' man. Саме в цей час молоді Янку та Мара вирішують одружитися. Батьки запрошують гостей, ріжуть корови й свині та дістають з льохів добірне румунське вино. Та от невдача! Несподівано помирає радянський вождь Іосіф Сталін і комуністи на 7 днів забороняють будь-які забави, в акурат перед самісіньким весіллям! Невже доведеться викидати наїдки та виливати трунки? Ні!
