Вийшовши заміж за пілота Хуберта, Марі не припускала, чим обернеться її шлюб. Леопольдина, свекруха Марі, нищить дівчину кожен день, всі свої сили вона кинула на те, щоб життя Марі було нестерпним в рамках її сім’ї.
