Звичний плин життя забутого богом канадського містечка порушує раптова смерть підлітка. Жителі міста явно не хочуть обговорювати подробиці автокатастрофи, проте скорбота близьких поступово поширюється навколо, позбавляючи сусідів звичного відчуття часу. Загадкові фігури виникають з туману і роблять дивні речі. Крізь мерехтливе плівкове зображення стають помітнішими історії з минулого.

Звичний плин життя забутого богом канадського містечка порушує раптова смерть підлітка. Жителі міста явно не хочуть обговорювати подробиці автокатастрофи, проте скорбота близьких поступово поширюється навколо, позбавляючи сусідів звичного відчуття часу. Загадкові фігури виникають з туману і роблять дивні речі. Крізь мерехтливе плівкове зображення стають помітнішими історії з минулого.Сюжет
Двоюрідні брати Антон і Вінсент давно мріяли втілити в життя один неймовірно амбітний проект. Це їм буде коштувати маси зусиль і грошей, але якщо все вийде, хлопці за лічені секунди будуть заробляти мільйони доларів. Антон і Вінсент працюють трейдерами, та ще й на найвищому рівні, де кожна мілісекунда має величезне значення. Їх проект полягає в тому, що вони прокладуть кабель прямо під Нью-Йоркську фондову біржу – і це дасть їм можливість швидше за всіх заробляти гроші. План ідеальний, потрібно тільки домовитися з усіма власниками земель і прокласти канал. Та ось у них є конкурент – їхня колишня начальниця Ева Торрес, яка теж хоче бути швидше за всіх. У цій гонці переможе тільки хтось один, але приз коштує будь-яких вкладень.
