Якщо порівнювати „Торкаючись безодні” з простим ігровим фільмом про альпіністів - від радянської „Вертикалі” до голлівудського „Скелелаза” - виявляється, що справжня історія, розказана живими людьми, здатна вразити значно більше, ніж будь-які фантазії сценаристів.
