24-річна Джемма, яка звикла отримувати від життя переважно задоволення, раптово дізнається, що завагітніла після випадкового зв'язку, і розуміє, що за підтримкою може звернутися тільки до свого батька-невдахи Малкольма. Від нього щойно пішла дружина і мати Джемми з усіма їх заощадженнями, а ще він нездатний завантажити пральну машину, зварити яйце або розігріти в мікрохвильовій печі їжу, щоб не сталося вибуху. Джеммі та Малкольму доведеться уживатися один з одним, тому що їхні фінанси не здатні витягнути проблеми поодинці.
Сюжет
