На дворі «літо кохання», друзі заїжджають у громаду гіпі, потрапляють у позаштатному містечку у «буцегарню», знайомляться там з адвокатом і відкривають йому радості маріхуани.Трійця безтурботних подорожніх, залишивши всі життєві турботи позаду, опиняється на порозі справжньої свободи і щастя. Але трагедія вже наступає їм на п'яти. Консервативні жителі півдня бачать в них чужинців і зустрічають вороже; під час нічного нападу реднеків гине присталий до друзів адвокат. Наркотична вакханалія в одному з публічних будинків Нового Орлеана залишає після себе сумний осад.

Втомившись від власної непогрішності, вона таємно поступає на роботу в публічний будинок мадам Анаїс.Але оскільки вечорами і ночами Северина продовжує виконувати свою звичну роль буржуазної кішечки, в борделі вона одержує ім'я «Денна красуня».
Як будь-яка повія вона виконує всі бажання своїх клієнтів. А потім повертається до домівки.
Таким чином, Северина починає вести подвійне життя.

With the help of an aborigine named Billy, and a growing legend of audacity, Morgan soon becomes a hero. The locals love him, while the wealthy and powerful fear his influence. They want this outlaw dead or alive, and will stop at nothing to see that their sense of justice is done. But Morgan only wants those to pay for the crimes they have committed, to recognize that he wasn't always a bushranger - he was made into one. It wasn't only his mind that made him bad. It was society that turned him into Mad Dog Morgan.
