В результаті в магазин поступили злі десантники, запрограмовані воювати з добрими фантастичними істотами гаргонітами.Першим з ними зіткнувся син власника маленького магазина іграшок, що прийняв сторону гаргонітів. Десантники, що спочатку не чіпали «цивільних осіб» незабаром перейшли на зовсім неіграшкові бойові дії і проти людей.

Сюжет
Поліцейський Дейв Спід потрапляє під опромінювання ракети, що вибухнула, внаслідок чого одержує здатність скоювати всякі чудеса (аж до спустошення заповненого стадіону). Проте вся ця суперсила пропадає, коли він бачить червоний колір. Потрапляючи по ходу фільму в різні комічні ситуації, вони з напарником Данлопом виходять на слід мафіозної групи, що забезпечує місто фальшивими доларами. При спробі заарештувати її учасників Данлоп потрапляє в пастку, а Дейва обвинувачують в його вбивстві і намагаються стратити.

Although the pair have talent, they are beaten out by the underhanded tactics of the festival favorites, another duo with the backing of BIM: Boogalow International Music, and its leader, Mr. Boogalow. Though crestfallen by their loss, Bibi and Alphie are soon delighted to hear that Mr. Boogalow has taken an interest in their music and wants to sign them to his label. They quickly come to the attention of Hollywood music producer B.D. Hoffler Of B.D. (Big Deal) Records. With the boys off to Hollywood to spread the words of joy and love to the world, enter into Heartland the evil and demented Mr. Mustard, an ex-real estate agent who wants to take over Heartland by destroying what made it famous. To do so, he plans to steal the instruments in city hall, and promote the music of the F.V.B. (Future Villain Band) in place of the Lonely Hearts Club Band. With Billy's hometown girlfriend Strawberry Fields at their sides, the boys try to thwart Mustard's dastardly plan at their own peril while still trying to spread their own message of love and joy to the world.
