Це блискучий режисерський дебют Аньєс Жауї, що вона раніше отримала “Сезара” за роль у фільмі Алена Рене “Стара пісня”. Тут Жауї теж грає одну з головних ролей, поряд з іншими блискучими французькими акторами. В результаті фільм засипали фестивальними й іншими нагородами. Зокрема, це 4 “Сезари”: за найкращий фільм, найкращий сценарій (Жан-П’єр Бакрі, Аньє Жауї), актрисі й актору за найкращі ролі другого плану (Анн Альваро і Жерар Ланвен). Європейська кіноакадемія сценарій до фільму теж визнала найкращим. Стрічка отримала також Ґран-прі Монреальського МКФ і була номінована на “Оскара” як іншомовний фільм.Про що ж ідеться у картині?
