Це також спроба Ендрю осягнути особистий та колективний вплив дій свого батька Віктора Кравченка та виконати заповіт, який його батько розпочав, але не зміг завершити.Фільм розповідає про подорож Ендрю в Україну та московію, повернення до пустелі Арізони, де він виріс, та до маєтків на півночі Нью-Джерсі, де виросла його мати. Потім він вирушає на блискучі проспекти Мангеттену, де закохалися його батьки. Потім у Париж, арену, яку його батько обрав для своєї епічної битви проти Сталіна, і, нарешті, до збіднілих сіл і вугільних шахт України, які сформували життя та цінності Віктора. Через подорож його сина до цих місць, багато з яких залишилися такими ж, як і 50 років тому, ми знову відкриваємо життя Віктора Кравченка і те, що сформувало його як людину, яка завдасть такого потужного удару Сталіну та радянському режиму.
