Кожен глухий закуток Фландрії має свій провінційний рок-груп, який, марно мріючи про зіркову славу, грає де тільки вдасться. Три музиканти-інваліди, як і їхні кумири, підсіли на наркотики. Вони шукають ударника для свого гурту „The Feminists“. Відомий письменник Дріс відповідає усім вимогам, але є один нюанс: він не вміє грати на ударних. Попри це, нахабний ошуканець намагається долучитися до гурту і таким чином спричиняє особисті та сімейні негаразди, що загрожують і без того сумнівному майбутньому колективу. Хмари згущуються, і Дрісу навіть вдається переконати учасників гурту випити крові один одного. Фільм навряд-чи можна назвати звичайною адаптацією твору відомого фламандського письменника Германа Брюссельманса. Це жорсткий, разючий, часом моторошний, подекуди комічний і, як і попередні короткометражки Мортьє, - надзвичайно експресивний фільм про музику.

Попри це, нахабний ошуканець намагається долучитися до гурту і таким чином спричиняє особисті та сімейні негаразди, що загрожують і без того сумнівному майбутньому колективу.
