У недалекому майбутньому Земля постійно зазнає нападів інопланетних загарбників. Для захисту людства Територіальні сили оборони створюють елітний підрозділ Ultra Guard/Ultra Garrison із шести бійців, оснащених високотехнологічними машинами, кораблями та зброєю. До команди приєднується загадковий Дан Моробоші, який приховує правду про своє походження: він прибулець із Краю Світла в туманності M-78. Коли загроза стає критичною, Дан розкриває справжню сутність і перетворюється на Ultraseven — могутнього супергероя, що протистоїть монстрам і космічним агресорам. Серіал поєднує військову фантастику, командну драму та видовищні битви, продовжуючи традиції класичного «Ultraman» у новому масштабі для прихильників жанру.
