Історія подорожі хлопчика Чандрама Сінгх, під псевдонімом Чаммку, його родина була жорстоко вбита. Його ж переправили на південь. Там його оселили в табір, у якому сотню таких же як він, учили вбивати! Через кілька років навчання його відібрали за задумом RAW і IB. Він був натренований для того, що б убивати. Він виявився найкращим у своїй справі. Політичні вбивства, міжнародні викрадення, зустрічі із впливовими людьми, все це він клацав як горіхи. Chennai-based ACP Anbuselvan works together with a team of anti-narcotics officers and with the help of an informer virtually bring drug-dealing to an end. He is dedicated and believes being involved with anyone romantically may endanger her life, but changes his mind after he meets with Maya. Unknown to the entire unit, the informer was working for a gangster, who wanted all competition eliminated, and thus reign as the king of the underworld. Then Anbuselvan's world will be shattered when he and some of his team will be suspended for their involvement in the killing of a gangster, the brother of Pandiyan, while the latter vows that he will not rest until he has killed the entire team and their respective families.

Та маємо саме такий випадок: стрічка Жака Одіара – римейк фільму американського кінорежисера Джеймса Тобака „Пальці” – з молодим Гарві Кейтелем у головній ролі. То був 1978 рік. Французька ж версія 2005-го, попри чималі зміни, слідує сюжетній канві ориґіналу: 28-літній герой Тома, що його грає один з найцікавіших французьких акторів молодшого покоління – Ромен Дюріс, продовжує батькову справу, а це бізнес на нерухомості. Методи достатньо жорстокі та брудні, один із найбезневинніших – підкидання щурів у будинок, щоб „викурити” звідтіля мешканців... Та якось Тома зустрічає друга своєї покійної матері, відомої піаністки, і пригадує: його теж колись мали за перспективного музиканта. Чому б не повернутися до світу музики? Jaisingh lives in India with his son, Sahil, who dislikes his father. Things only get worse between father and son, when Jaisingh wants him to get married to Sheetal, a woman he has chosen to be his daughter-in-law. But Sahil wants to marry another girl by the name of Isha, and no amount of pressure can get him to change his mind. Finally, an argument ensues between the two, with Jaisingh getting killed. The Police are summoned, they arrest Sahil, try him in the Indian courts, convict him, but instead of giving him the death sentence, they put him in jail for life. A defiant Sahil, who still maintains his innocence, finds a way to escape, with the authorities hot on his tail, and leading this chase is a senior policeman by the name of Udham Singh, who has never been known to fail in his job of apprehending runaways and other criminals.
