У ніч на Геловін крамниця Джекліна залишилася без покупців, а зсередини лунає весела старовинна пісня. Лунає вона з маленького телевізора на столі касира, а сам касир, Майлз, спить на столі. Звідкись із крамниці роздається грюкіт, який змушує хлопця прокинутися, і він оглядає крамницю, щоб виявити, що вона все ще порожня.Проте коли Майлз озирається назад, то бачить, що цифровий годинник над ним показує 23:59, а його погляд одразу ж падає на табличку з написом «Закрити до опівночі». Майлз вибігає з-за столу і починає задувати свічки, що горять у ліхтарях по всій крамниці, намагаючись виграти цю гонку з часом. Declan is a young man who is the butcher and owner of a butcher shop in NY. and teaches cooking classes there also. He owns this cute dog named Ralphie who is his best friend. Declan first meets Eva who shows up at his butcher shop and orders chicken that he recommends. His dog goes missing for days and Declan's life starts to unravel. One day Eva shows up at his butcher shop after she sees the fliers that say, Lost Dog. She feels sorry for him and invites him to dinner along with her room mate. Eva cooks him dinner and they all sit at the table eating. As he is sitting there eating and talking with them. Little by little clues start to emerge to what really might have happened to his dog.

Vulgar Fractions ostensibly begins as a physical exploration of seven unique state intersections along Nebraska, but eventually reveals itself as more concerned with attempting to uncover an underlying metaphysical construction that feeds ideas of both real and imaginary borders. In this examination, interrelationships are considered dialectically--land/sky, bordered/borderless, old/new tech--while moments of stasis are shown as being sublated by entropy. Vulgar Fractions was shot entirely single frame with a digital camera and an intervalometer. Sound is composed from field recordings taken on location. Additional samples of farm machinery taken by Seth Chrisman, Jon Rhodig and Scott Thompson. Made with the kind support of the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts.

There is not a soul in sight, it is very quiet and everything looks so calm under the night lights... but you are actually wrong. From a distance, a figure of an odd-looking, slender man, seems to be still, only to realize that the man is steadily approaching you, inspecting you in a way... You switch side on the road, hoping for some kind of an escape, but alas, the man is definitely after you with an otherworldly, eerie smile, closing and closing the gap between the two of you. Now really, what would you do?
