Два офіцери прикордонного патруля випадково знаходять джип, а в ньому скелет, гвинтівку і 800 000 доларів готівкою, що напівзасипані піском, що залучає їх до таємної історії, початок якої датується 1963 роком. Десь у безлюдній техаській пустелі Мелквадеса Естраду спочатку вбивають, а потім тут же спішно ховають без належних почестей. Пізніше тіло знаходять і перепоховують на кладовищі містечка Ван Хорн. Місцевий фермер Піт Перкінс, один Естради, викрадає місцевого поліцейського і змушує його викопати тіло. З заручником на прив'язі і з тілом, прив'язаним до мулу, Піт відправляється в небезпечну подорож до Мексики з метою поховати тіло по справедливості і розкрити таємницю вбивства....
Сюжет
Десь у безлюдній техаській пустелі Мелквадеса Естраду спочатку вбивають, а потім тут же спішно ховають без належних почестей. Пізніше тіло знаходять і перепоховують на кладовищі містечка Ван Хорн. Місцевий фермер Піт Перкінс, один Естради, викрадає місцевого поліцейського і змушує його викопати тіло. З заручником на прив'язі і з тілом, прив'язаним до мулу, Піт відправляється в небезпечну подорож до Мексики з метою поховати тіло по справедливості і розкрити таємницю вбивства....Сюжет (англ.)

Maynard knows that a smuggler of illegal aliens is responsible for Scooter's death, but the feds insist that drug dealers committed the crime. If this villainous smuggler is going to be caught, Maynard is going to have to do the dirty work himself.
