Створений титулованим мексиканським режисером Фернандо Фріасом, фільм документує три концерти групи з повним аншлагом у Мехіко, які відвідали понад 200 000 фанів, поєднуючи концертні кадри з інтерпретаційними вставками й архівним матеріалом. Depeche Mode: M відзначає глобальний вплив гурту, водночас занурюючись у потужні зв’язки між музикою, смертю та мексиканськими традиціями.
