Wealthy executive Aditya Soman, married to Ashwini for several years, and the parent of Akhil, has an affair with his Secretary, Geeta Menon. Both get intimate after he assures her that he will divorce his wife, and marry her. When she gets pregnant, he tells her to abort the child as he has changed his mind about the divorce. Angered, Geeta attacks him, a scuffle ensues, and in the end she gets killed. He buries her body, and returns home to carry on as usual. But not for long, for soon not only will he and his family's lives will be turned upside when the spirit of Geeta returns to exact vengeance, they will also be the subject of an investigation by the Crime Branch.

Then in 2002 collegians Akshay, Kabir, Nupur, Pulit, Shanti, and Manav, induct new-comer, Disha, to their group, and also invite her to the engagement ceremony of Shanti and Manav. The group will soon find out that her induction will set loose a chain of events that will throw their lives in jeopardy as she may be a ferocious shape-changing entity that is out to claim her lover, Amar Khanna, from a past life, and also prevent anyone from reading the last chapter of Professor Das' book.
