Марко, мовчазний іспанець з паралізованими ногами, їздить на червоному джипі по Латинській Америці. Кузов його машини забитий таким собі «товаром». Десь в Бразилії в придорожній забігайлівці він рятує від п'яного гвалтівника незговірливу дівчину. Марія до Карма сідає в машину Марко. У втікачки із дому виявляється справжній характер: вона сама рятує Марко, коли їм на хвіст сідають бандити. На цьому обмін люб'язностями не закінчується.
