Бабуся автора фільму Марія Федорівна оповідає про своє життя: як 15-річною дівчиною їй довелося вийти заміж у друге село, бо «руські виселяли куркулів», як «руські» розбили побудований на заробітчанські гроші будинок їхньої родини, найбільший у селі, забрали всю худобу та запаси, а брата засудили на 7 років. Найзаможніша родина вимушена бідувати. Також фільм оповідає про наслідки землетрусу 2015 року в Округлій. Коли земні поштовхи сколихнули село, Марія Федорівна перебувала у лікарні. Перед її поверненням додому рідні відремонтували тріщини в оселі, щоб уберегти бабусю Марію від хвилювань.Про долю жінки на тлі закарпатської історії.
