Vanheden and Dynamit-Harry, together with Harry's fiancée Doris, are in Mallorca while Sickan is still in Stockholm. However, Wall-Enberg wants him to do a break-in at Cardinal Wulka's in Mallorca. He can't resist this and goes down there. However, Wall-Enberg can't be trusted. Sickan is fooled, caught and put in prison while waiting for transport home to Sweden again. After Vanheden and Harry have broke him out of jail, he's, naturally, set on revenge. The gang discover that an antiques dealer called Germann has something to do with the whole thing and that she's also collaborating with Wall-Enberg. The gang then decide to take a closer look at her and her antiques and they discover that there's a coup being planned against the cathedral in Parma.

The list of contestants has been narrowed down to two companies: one is a multinational one with good backing and the other is run by visionaries and enthusiasts with their main focus on rowing-boats. Having a hard time to decide between the two the sheik declares a race on the Göta Canal through Sweden, from the capital of Stockholm to the second city of Gothenburg, where the winner gets the order. Pretty soon it becomes obvious that winning does not mean strictly abiding to sea rules and regulations.

Göran, Tina and their two children buy a house in a suburb. It is in need of some repairs but Göran believes himself capable of repairing it himself with the help of a few cheap craftsmen. However, the state of the house is much worse than he thought. At the same time, a gang of crooks is searching for the dynamite they hid in the basement some time ago. Göran has to rescue both his wallet from greedy craftsmen as well as his marriage with Tina.
