Impelled by a spirit which still preserves a patina of idealism, Alfredo arrives in Madrid intent on creating "a performance which is freer, straight from the heart, capable of making people feel alive". His concept of what theater should be begins beyond the stage, out in the streets face to face with the public. Outdoors, in any town square, in a park or in the city's most commercial street, Alfredo and his troupe NOVEMBER start the show: demons to provoke passers-by, displays of social conscience, actions taken to the extreme to put the forces of law and order on full alert. There are no limits, no censorship; only ideas which are always valid so long as the public ceases to be the public and becomes part of the show swept by surprise, fear, tears or laughter.

У фільмі йде мова про дружбу двох жриць кохання на тлі життя сучасного міста. Актриси Кандела Пеня і Міхаела Неварез грають головні ролі в цій історії двох жінок, двох повій, двох принцес. Кайе - тридцятирічна жінка з чубиком, немов тільки, що з перукарні і досить спірною красою, того типу зовнішності, що неофіційно називається «сусідська дівчина». Сулема схожа на позбавлену трону принцесу, милу, але похмуру, і постійно живе на межі відчаю та депресії. Вона завжди носить із собою в гаманці фотографію сина, наче надію, загорнену в пластик, і раз у раз показує своїм подружкам, але насправді побачити цю фотографію потрібно насамперед їй самій. А Сулема фотографується в супермаркетах, серед коробок, щоб потім послати знімки батькам, яким сказала, що працює пакувальницею. А пізно ввечері, відіславши ці листи вона знову ходить напіводягнена алеями мадридського Casa de Campo. Коли жінки зустрічаються, вони розуміють що вони схожі, що йдуть по одному і тому ж шляху і починається ця історія. Сулемі все важче проживати кожен день, але випадково виникла дружба з Кайе стане для них обох свого роду притулком, як і та залита сонячним світлом кімната, яку вони ділять між собою, затишне місце, де можна посидіти і поговорити, і весь світ неласкавий на деякий час перестане існувати.
