A flock of storks fly in the misty sky, all carrying white bundles. One of the bundles falls and a little girl called Juniper ends up in a strange world. This is the beginning of a wonderful, magical adventure as the girl tries to find out who she really is and where she came from. She finally meets an old troll called Rolli who tells the girl his own, eventful story. The girl and the troll become friends and together they encounter a dangerous threat against the fairytale woods. This is a universal tale of bravery and friendship that takes its audience through exciting plot twists, circus spotlights and the splendor of the fantastic forest.

Iiris, 25, who has worked odd jobs abroad for years, returns to her native Finland for the summer because her best friend Karoliina, 25, has found a summer job for them both in Hanko. The girls will work in a cafeteria in a holiday town on the south coast. The idea is to spend one more care-free summer with your soul mate, enjoying the beaches and bars of Hanko - without worries of the summer job opening up a career for you of looking good in your resume... And when the girls make friends with their slightly odd workmate Eeva, 25, the makings of a perfect summer seem to be in order. But Iiris has a crisis of growing up, Karoliina falls head over heels for a married man and Eeva is once again struggling to get into the University - these are just a few clouds over total freedom and ease. Iiris is depressed about her return to Spain - but if she would stay in Finland, she'd have to figure out what to do with her life. And meeting a way-too-perfect tennis instructor, Jussi, doesn't help in the approaching panic. To add icing on the cake, her big sister Hertta has gone and made a baby. Iiris feels that everyone else has a direction in life - except her. And Karoliina, approaching her second Master's degree, is tempted to do something that is morally suspicious, for the first time in her life. Eeva is struggling with her studies, with a growing suspicion of being a bit of a simpleton... As the summer goes on, all three girls have to accept hard facts about themselves and their lives.

The Grump is a man from the past. A man who knows that everything used to be so much better in the old days. Pretty much everything that's been done after 1953 has always managed to ruin The Grump's day. Our story unfolds as The Grump takes a fall from his basement steps, hurting his ankle. He has to spend a weekend in Helsinki to attend physiotherapy. The Grump doesn't like this for four reasons: 1) He has to take a taxi. 2) He can't take daily care of his wife, an Alzheimer's patient. 3) He can't drive, which means he might have to sit in a car with a female driver. 4) He has to spend time with his family. The daughter-in-law is a career woman, not keen to spend time with The Grump when he comes to the city. Her boss has given her the task to look after Russian businessmen supposed to close a major deal over the weekend. It doesn't make her any happier when The Grump decides to help with the deal. Then The Grump has to face his useless son to become the father he never was, teaching his son how to take care of his loved ones. A thing The Grump has never been able to do. And somebody's day will be ruined.
