Святкування Нового року - справа клопітка. Принаймні для телебачення. Адже зйомки "новорічного вогника" проходять в жахливих умовах загального хаосу. До того ж, у цьому процесі присутнє особливе марновірство. Кожен столик з зірками має свою ауру. Але й це не допоможе, коли в процесі зйомок почне відбуватися низка безглуздих випадковостей, яка призводить до трагічних наслідків. У всій цій плутанині в центрі уваги опиняється популярний співак Альфонсо, якого намагаються вбити. А ось простий хлопець з масовки Хосе випробовує долю на везіння і цілується з чарівною зіркою Паломою. У цю ніч всіх чекають незабутні відчуття...

Ранок у барі на площі в Мадриді не передбачав нічого поганого, аж поки один з відвідувачів не був убитий на виході з закладу. Коли ж інший гість бару спробував допомогти йому, вийшовши на вулицю, то так само отримав смертельне поранення. Arturo, Chus and Hipólito ("Poli") are the brothers-in-law that their peaceful and happy existence shock suddenly: Valentina, Arturo and Isabel's daughter, decides in the last moment not marry with AgustÃn, leaving him alone in the own altar, in order to stay with Ãlex, a young perroflauta (Spanish for dreadlock) and anarchist, which free ideals opposite straightly with the totally conservative Arturo; Chus and his wife Olga discover that their daughter Marta is dating with Dani, a troubled boy and ni-ni (Spanish short for "ni oficio ni beneficio", equivalent to "without a penny to one's name") related with drugs; and Poli realizes that his daughter Sarai is dating with Ernesto, a Poli's former school partner and actually a playboy who works as artistic photographer, in addition that Alicia, Poli's wife, knew Sarai's relation but she hide it. Determined to break the relation in the belief that Ãlex, Dani and Ernesto aren't good for their lovely and perfect daughters, Arturo, Chus and Poli plot the way to stop all three relations outside their respective wives, not knowing the consequences that their acts will have for the family.

Rosa is an unhappy and sulky prostitute who inherited the profession from Antonia, her mother, an avid fan of Sara Montiel who turns her daily life in a hell. Living in a poor apartment with very little money, Rosa spends the days with Antonia and Carlos, a transgender prostitute who lives in the same corridor that them. The lives of them three change the day that Masha, a Russian prostitute of the same corridor, dies by overdose. Lyuba, Masha's little daughter, decides hide inside Rosa's house after to learn the obsession of Antonia to keep open the door from her apartment when Rosa goes to work (due to her fear to fall on the ground or suffer a heart attack and no one can help her).
