Варто сказати, що він був тим ще унікумом: Френк любив епатувати публіку. Начепити на себе голову ляльки-велетня під час концерту і не тільки - це в його стилі. Автори кінострічки вирішили не знімати біографію музиканта, який любив заявити про себе на повний голос. Вони запозичили у Сайдботтома незвичайний імідж і перетворили його в американця.
