Roger Rabbit once again is chosen for the dangerous task of babysitting Baby Herman and everything is going to be just fine. "Not like last time!!" Baby Herman immediately swallows his rattle and is rushed to the hospital. The rattle get's out, but then Roger swallows it and doctors are about to cut him open when the lunch whistle goes off. Roger and Herman blast off around the hospital on a jet powered "Hare Splitter" machine. They get blown into the air, the rattle is rescued and everything is fine - until Roger sees the hospital bill!

Daffy Duck plays a Musketeer, but as he advances on his enemy, the background disappears; Daffy demands the proper scenery, and an animator paints a completely inappropriate background - the start of a running duel between Daffy and the unseen animator who changes backgrounds, Daffy's appearance, the soundtrack, and even the film projection under Daffy's feet, forcing the mad mallard to improvise his performance and leaving him screaming for the animator's head.

As the narrator explains, educating children is one of the most important things today and the heroic man who takes on this role is "the school teacher" (Goofy, naturally). After taking role call, Goofy tries to teach the class but keeps having to deal with a mischievous trouble-maker named George who enjoys sneaking out of class to go fishing, eating the teacher's apple, squeaking chalk, making faces while teacher gives a geography lesson, and terrorizing the other students with his water pistol. In the end, George's mischief goes too far when he destroys the school with an exploding bomb and is forced to write "I will not bomb the school again" 100 times!

The clock on the church tower strikes midnight, sending the bats flying out of the belfry. Two cats on gravestones fight by pulling and stretching each other's noses like taffy. A skeleton rises from behind a gravestone, frightening the fur off the cats. But an owl's hooting scares it, and it retaliates by throwing its skull and knocking the bird's feathers off. It's time for the skeletons to dance; and they perform as no living creatures could.

The royal grounds are, in fact, amply posted with "No Poaching" signs (one sign reads "Not even an egg"), but Bugs either didn't see or ignored them. Of course, Bugs sets out to endlessly turn the tables on the hapless Sheriff, at one point talking him into building a six-room two-door home in the middle of the King's gardens. The dueling pair are periodically interrupted by a chubby Little John who proclaims, each time he appears, "Don't you worry never fear, Robin Hood will soon be here". In the end, the merriest of merry men does appear and it's...it's...oh, see it yourself. Bugs goes in disguise as the King, who then knights the Sheriff ("Arise, Sir Loin of Beef...").
