Сюжет
Чотири молоді ліванки працюють в салоні краси в тихому районі міста. Разом проводять будні, діляться одна з одною своїми радощами і негараздами, мріями та секретами. Одна збирається заміж, але з'ясовується, що її наречений - не перший її чоловік. Для мусульманки це є ганьбою, а якщо про її дошлюбні "походеньки" дізнаються родичі, ганьба важким тягарем ляже на всю її рідню. У іншої роман з одруженим чоловіком. Розуміючи, що він уникає зустрічей з нею, вона вирішує познайомиться з його дружиною, щоб дізнатися, якій жінці він надає перевагу. Третя - середніх років заміжня жінка з двома дітьми. Їй раптом приходить в голову ідея знятися в кіно. Пройти кастинг для неї стає нав'язливою ідеєю. Остання дівчина багато в чому нагадує юнака: зачіска, стиль одягу, характер. Видно, що вона не байдужа до красивих дівчат. Одного разу в салон приходить чорнява красуня.Між ними спалахує іскра нового, ще незрозумілого обом почуття. І, нарешті, п'ятою героїнею фільму є вже немолода кравчиня, яка приймає клієнтів у себе вдома. У її житті все змінюється, коли на порозі її будинку з'являється літній американець із проханням підігнати йому костюм за розміром.
