...Колись, в свої піонерські роки, це покоління отримало в дарунок від радянської влади "Пепсі-колу" новоросійського розливу — це був не просто напій, це була надія на те, що слідом за "Пепсі", нове, чарівне життя, прийде з того боку моря. І воно прийшло, змітаючи все на своєму шляху, позбавляючи від ілюзій і знецінюючи колишні ідеали.Герой фільму — Вавілен Татарський — поет, випускник літ. інституту і типовий представник "покоління Пепсі". Опинившись у вирі історичних подій пострадянського простору, Вавілен стає новомодним рекламним крейтором і намагається пізнати таємницю свого покликання.
